About the author:
Mohd Harun Abdullah (PhD) is a professor of environmental science at the School of Science and Technology, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). His field of specialisation is water quality analysis. He has been involved in many research pertaining to sea water intrusion hydrochemistry in small islands.
