Sufi retreat is practiced by some of the Tariqah an-Naqshabandiyyah al-Khalidiyyah in some parts in Malaysia. Tariqah is one of the oldest teaching of Islam and still being practiced by some Muslims. During the retreat all spiritual practices are meant to purify, cleanse and improve one’s spiritual dimension. It starts with repenting to the Almighty until endless dimension of self-realization is reached.
Modern Muslims need to give themselves an opportunity to explore more on spiritual practices. It can be a strong support for their physical activities in the modern world.
